Apply for Research Ethics Review

CEID’s Research Ethics Committee reviews research involving human participants to support ethical, responsible and participant-centred research practice.

Researchers seeking ethics review should submit the following by email:

• completed research proposal or protocol
• research objectives and methodology
• participant recruitment procedure
• data collection tools
• participant information sheet
• informed consent form
• confidentiality and data protection plan
• risk and safeguarding information, where applicable
• researcher or research team details
• institutional affiliation, where applicable

The Research Ethics Committee may approve the application, request revisions or seek additional information before making a decision.
